Disaster Response has many components – Surveys

Disaster surveys allow assessors to see what has really happened.  Surveys allow the disaster response to be coordinated and to be directed in the most effective manner.  The right helicopter pilot can be a key to accessing all the parts of the disaster.  Quality pilots respond to your needs safely. Disaster Response – flying VIPs

VIPs may need to fly to assess the company’s priorities.  They can focus effort and manage the wider parts of disaster response.  They may need to manage safety in accordance their established company procedures (such as their Safety Risk Management Programmes).  They may also need to manage any environmental impact.  These jobs often require an eagle’s eye view of the problem so that all the broader issues can be addressed safely.  A helicopter can be a key tool for the immediate response team.

Depending on the scale of the incident, you may also need to fly the Press, so that they can see the way you respond.

Disaster Response – Light Cargo

Light cargoes may also be needed.  Disaster response teams may need extra equipment.  Infra Red search cameras help find people.  Video equipment records the actions taken. Light stretchers may be needed to evacuate the injured.  That way they can get to local hospitals or airstrips to allow them to access the right medical attention.  All these light cargoes need to be delivered rapidly and right to the point of need.  Helicopters can be a key to that.
